Gamma is Tau’s core motor platform that combines innovations across hardware and software to reduce—and eliminate—the need for rare earth materials in machines, while expanding the operating envelope of performance to reduce energy consumption. Gamma enables scalable and sustainable electric systems.

Helix is an integrated drive unit system that recombines and deploys Tau’s advanced technology in a modular, adapted electrification platform to maximize the performance, scale, and system efficiency of EVs. Collaborating with partners, Tau generates unique design codes to ensure optimization across the powertrain and fleet—from production to pavement (and beyond).

Ion is a suite of next-generation converter technology. Increasing power density, reducing losses, and maximizing control of the system, ion technology can be deployed across silicon or wide-bandgap devices. Modular architecture offers both scalability and flexibility in design capability.

Apollo is software infrastructure that incorporates scientific computing, machine learning, and multiphysics to enable the rapid and intelligent development of complex hardware systems. Apollo spans Tau’s technology stack to enable system fusion, computational optimization, control, and discovery from concept through production.

Narya is an advanced thermal management system (TMS) that leverages entropy across the system to reduce energy waste, limit weight, and extend range. An optimized thermal design can significantly increase a machine’s rated power, almost without any increase of its costs. Narya manages heat transfer to enhance torque production, control, and efficiency of any motor.
